An eternity

At 8:30 this morning my wife made sure to wake me up to go to work, I playfully grabbed her ass before she left to get her hair done.

At 10:20 this morning my daughter called me telling me she was at a Hospital because my wife had a seizure, I used google to get directions and met my daughter in the waiting room. A social worker who had been waiting with daughter led us in to room in ER to meet attending physician. A long ten minute wait ensued with me in a room that my wife was not in. My mind raced to worst case scenario.

Physician started with "your wife is alive but not in good condition".

Wife had 5 separate seizures, was given a breathing tube and they have basically induced a coma and now we wait for seizures to subside. Now I have the long wait until Thursday when they will try to revive her and we determine if there was any damage due to oxygen deprivation.

Edit: Daughter has shown amazing maturity today, wife was fortunate that she had pulled off highway before seizure occurred. By chance shopping complex where she stopped had emergency care clinic, daughter got her there before or soon after 1st seizure occurred. Quote of day is still "so I'm stuck with you for a few days".

Going from whole pot to 1/4 pot on a 2/41 turn and 1/40 river in the $3k last night no longer seems like that bad a beat.
