A Good Day

Wife deviated from doctor's schedule by waking up, ripping breathing tube out herself and screaming. She was still quite disoriented so could not remember phone number and had been awake for hours when daughter and I arrived for start of visiting hours. She lurched out of bed to give us a hugan got chastised by nurse for getting out of bed without supervision. They are planning to discharge her tomorrow.

At this point damage from ordeal seems to be scratchy throat from breathing tube and inevitable suspension of drivers license. We live near a vta light rail stop but I believe she will have to learn a lot more about vta.

She will also have to go back on medication that was discontinued 15 years ago.

From demeanor of neurologist he does not understand why she recovered ahead of time frame and he openly admits we may never know what triggered this seizure. Stupid body is just not straightforward physics that my world is used to.

Thanks for well wishes.

Still will have to miss the Mookie.
