Wife is Home

Instead of planned discharge at 11:00 wife had to undergo MRI, she was like a caged animal for the additional 5 hours but results of MRI indicated their were no problems with brain and she was sent home. She is bruised and sore, some from IV, some from drawing blood for tests, some from thrashing during seizure.

1st adjustment also came this evening. Daughter was out of pads, wife cannot drive so I was the one that had to take quick drive to store and hit "feminine products" aisle. Daughter was very specific in her instructions as to brand and to get nightime, long, thin with wings. I eventually gave up and asked one of employees for help. Employee was confused by combination leading me to realize the extent evil daughter would go to torture. I made alternate selection and returned home to a hearty chuckle from daughter.

Have not gotten the letter from DMV suspending wifes license but I suspect her license is looking at a 6 month suspension. My chauffeur duties are going to take away from poker play, but increase family time.

I fear the day I have to make a trip like that. Absolute terror.

Glad to see everyone's sense of humor returning.

awesome news that the wife is home.

Ohh the trips to the store to pick up feminine Hygiene products.

Glad to hear your wife is home safe.

I know the scary times you are going through. My oldest son had a grand mall seizure almost 4 years ago. He continued to have them until he had surgery to remove a brain tumor.

Medicine and Doctors today are amazing. He is going to turn 23 this year and is healthy and strong.

I'm sure you will find the same happy ending will happen for your wife. My family's prayers and thoughts will be with you.

Well, she could have you pick up some vagisil.

I am so glad that your wife is home sleeping in her own bed.

Remember you have one last weapon against your daughter. Meeting potential boyfriends and showing them baby pictures and goofy kid pictures.

Remember embarassment is a two way street.

Anything you need, we're here!

I'm with IT on this one. Always remind her of the embarassment that you can cause her. She will think twice about pulling pranks like that.

To get her back, let her have friends sleep over and walk around in your boxer shorts all night and ask her to put ointment on your feet.

Glad to hear things are looking up.

Oh and I'm sorry to say, I think your daughters freakin' hilarious.

But I agree that she might need a little reminder about the payback factor.

glad she's home, but there's obviously something wrong with her brain.

She did marry you, after all.

With love, buddy, with love. If you can't abuse your friends, you can only abuse yourself.

And they frown on that while at the office.

you need to follow your daughter on her next date....and at an opportune moment (while she's standing with her date) hand her a box of pads and say 'i got these like you asked honey...sorry i'm late' :)

so glad the wife is home. :) :)

I dated a girl once who had wings. . .oh my, I digress. Let's just say she had a great sense of humor and kept her father on his toes. . .In the over all I am very happy for you and your family. A sense of humor sure helps relieve the tension.

I even look at the VTA thingy's interactive map of the light rail line. Not sure about your stop. Based on the face you make leaving a tournament early...I am going with Alum Rock.

Nice to come back for an update and to be able to joke a bit about things.

I know how we'd pin a guy's promotion on but never got involved with wings; you are on your own there.
