Timing is everything

I thought I told a good story. From button I raised Drizz BB a smallish 1.5x like I was either weak or wanted action. Drizz took the bait and attempted to resteal. I reraised putting Drizz to test with my armada. Unfortunately a few Cap'n & Cokes and holding KK gave him the courage to call. My cards were pointy (44) but failed me. Congrats for using chips wisely.

3 times in skillz I started with 4 suited cards and also had straight draw by 6th. None of three times did I finish with flush or straight.

There was a sick hand at my table in skillz:

I was thinking as the hand continued that Gary is too tight to be betting a 9 high straight against what is at least a Q hi straight or Ten hi straight plus no one seems to be worried about the paired cards. Since 3 of Gary's 4 nines were down I am wondering if any of players should have considered laydown before 7th?

Considering I was Player A, I thought he had maybe a full house at best, and a straight at worst. I figured by made full house by 6th street was good, I guess it wasnt. That hand Mega-Tilted me for the rest of the night too.

i remember that hand, it was sick! I agree, at least two of them should have folded....

That 'skills' game sure was wild. It was a learning experience for me, as I'm not a stud player, AT ALL.

That is a sick hand history! My table didn't seem to play any pots nearly that big. I think folding prior to 7th street should've been a no brainer for Player C, but my stud game is very weak/tight. I will say with confidence though that capping it with just the flush was completely ridiculous! I don't see how anyone could imagine their hand was good there.

I thought since only one player has a door card higher than a jack that there was no chance for you to escape. 4 of a kind with 3 down is sick.

I left Gary's name in hand because I thought his tight rep was relevant to hand.

It was that orbit that I was going re-steal with any two before the card were even dealt...

... unfortunately I got dealt Kings

Bayne,

No worries here. As far as folding, I can think of two instances where I would have folded my hand there.

If I already had a huge chip stack or if we were close to the bubble I might have been able to fold after 6th.

As this was, I had a bit over 2K when the hand started and I decided right then to take the hand to the rail, if that is what happened.

Obviously, I got ultra-lucky on the end and I nearly fell out of my chair when that 9 hit on 7th.

It was a sick hand, no doubt.
